Telstra bring nothing but shame upon Australia
Telstra is poo, but their stronghold on those who aren't aware, trust their gigantic brand-name, who already have their phone number locked down.
Telstra's ADSL and ADSL2 plans are a joke, for those who don't know, ADSL is and has always been capable of 8mb, but telstra (and followers) will only give you a worthless 1.5mb, while ADSL2 is capable of 24mb, Telstra "boast" speeds of up to...8mb.. yes you did your math correctly, Telstra want to make you pay ADSL2 prices for an ADSL1 speed service!
I'm on ADSL1 at 8mb right now, with iiNet!
Only select area's are granted higher speeds (selected meaning area's which have COMPETITION). The community needs to WAKE UP and stop feeding this money glutonous giant!

I don't know enough about telstra plans to comment but I can say that Australia is very far behind with there internet infrastructure and implementation. Not to mention prices and plans.
