Parents are Farmers
It shits me beyond belief when you go to the shops or out for dinner and little kids are running around like farm animals.
Parents no longer possess the skills to parent.
I know that when I was younger, I knew that if I played up in public, they'd always be a smack when I got home. And it's because of that threat, we'd behave ourselves.
Sit your child at the table and entertain them with conversation rather than let them run wild around other people's tables! And if they want to cry and carry on, take them outside. Have the common decency to respect other people around you.
In a doctors waiting room where everyone is sick and their tolerence isn't high, send them to the play room but DO NOT let them smack trucks together and run in and out, if their not going to behave, sit them down next to you and make them stay there.
Parenting is about the courtesy for other people as well.

Bring on the day when there are places with 'children free zones'. Children should be seen and not heard. I'm sick of looking like the 'bad guy' when I request to sit away from children in restaurants. It wouldn't be a problem if the kids weren't;
1. Throwing food around
2. Screaming for attention
3. Running around and
4. Being ignored by their parents because they believe their children are perfect angels.
While children will always be children, public order should be considered by both annoying children and ignorant parents.

I absolutely agree, children should be disciplined the same as an animal. If the child does something wrong, punish them.
I feel like punishing the parents that let their children run rampant in restaurants, shopping centers etc
The children that cry non stop until they get the lollipop they want and then are all smiles the SECOND it's in their hand need a punch in the face.
